OK, it was just a little friendly advice. I figured you'd totally mischaracterize my points and call me names, and that's exactly what you did.

So no surprises there. And for the record, you can call me all the names you want, but at the end of the day I'm still a (democratic) national merit scholarship semifinalist, and you're still an arrogant loser whose main debating strategies seem to consist of twisting my words and ad hominem attacks.

Now that I have your attention - why do you have to turn every conversation into a rant about religion? Are you that obsessed? I've noticed a lot of atheists who seem more obsessed about religion, if their internet behavior is any indication, than believers. It's funny to me.


I don't - I just think that people who wail and rend their garments because an anonymous poster is "disrespectful," whatever the topic, need to get a grip. And perhaps a life. And I'm not an aethiest, if you read carefully.

But yes, your "gotcha games," where you insult religion and then when some poor fool responds, you leap in with shrill cries of "over-sensitive!" are getting so, so, so old. First, are you under the impression that "anonymous" is all the same person? I wish I had the time to post as much as you think I do. Further, please point out where I "insulted religion." I don't believe I did, and if you think saying "Jesus fucking Christ" is insulting religion, I'm not sure what to say to you. And while appreciate your concern, I think posts on this board, and the state of the world in general, indicate that the image of the devout is more tarnished than that of aethiests. (See: Primary, Republican.)

This is not specific to the religious, by the way - I think anyone who has a meltdown because someone said something "disrespectful" of *anything* on an anonymous internet forum is an oversensitive ninny. As I said, possibly the internet is a bad choice if you're that fragile.

Especially when someone voices a complaint about the rude parent at school, or someone who cut them off while driving, or whatever . . . it's nearly always met with, "This area is filled with rude/self-centered/entitled/whatever people. Can't wait to leave and go back to [wherever,] where people walk on water, and never a harsh word is spoken."
