Hhhmm. I'm 5'8", very busty, 140 lbs, and a size 4-6. I'm having trouble believing you're not fairly chunky. Oh wait--you did say 'curvy'.

I look horrible in yoga pants and most types of jeans due to my build--Stocky, muscular legs and 5'4".
As a size 12-- I'd be a house.
Yes, you would, because you are short. Someone who is 6' and size 12 might still look decent, because of her height and proportions.
It all depends on one's height and body composition.

At 133 and 5'8", I wore a size 10 wedding gown. How could a person think a 10 or 12 is worn by a fat person?
Also, with "vanity sizing", people are kidding themselves. They proudly say "I wear a size 4." when it really is a larger size.
I'm 145 and 5'3" and wear a 10. I'm definitely fat.
How can you be 145 and 5'3" and wear a size ten? I'm 10 pounds lighter and wear a size 10. Do your clothes feel like an old-fashioned girdle?
Anonymous wrote:Today's sizing ~ this is the problem. I tried on some vintage (from 20 years ago) designer clothes and I fit 4 sizes smaller.
