I would submit them all. There are different high scores on the cogats.

Dunno how you can say Cogat 133 is a "you're in".
This past year, 133 composite was the cutoff for being in the pool -- and then only a percentage (60-70%?) get in.

So, I would say -- your kids got a chance. Its an "in the pool" score -- so they should give your file a good look. I'd submit the best -- last year's NNAT and this years Cogat.
Since that is how the fcps kids do it anyway.

PS If what your AAP office is saying is this: Report CogAt of 133 and NNAT of 142, with both sets attached, then definitely definitely do that.

We saw so much knowledge here about AAP centers, and would like MOM/DAD's input on this. Appreciate any information you can provide.

My son is 2nd grade in private school, and we want to see if he can get into FCPS AAP center.
He took the GMU group test in January when he was 1st grader, and again in September when he is 2nd grader now. The scores are following:
1st:
CogAT form 6: 117/123/130, composite 126
NNAT-2: 142
2nd:
CogAT form 7: 116/138/124, composite 133
NNAT-2: 127

I asked the AAP office, They said we can submit both, just put the highest subset on the application, and attach both reports.

I lean towards submit both, since both has one high score in them. My wife leans towards just the first one, since the second one shows only one improvement, and 3 declines.

We would like to hear any feedback the MOM/DAD here can provide. Should we submit both, or just one, and which one? What's your reason for your recommendation?

NNAT are done in 1st. CogAT/FAT are done in 2nd. Pool is done in 2nd during the Spring for decisions to start in 3rd.

New to the area:
Earlier in the thread someone mentioned 1st graders receiving scores for AAP. I was under the impression this started at the end of 2nd grade for possible 3rd grade AAP placement.
Please explain (if you can without flaming.)
