Hooboy, "basically" is doing a lot of work here.

Target is now rabidly anti-DEI. And since it changed, its stock has fallen from about 140 to about 104. Walmart's has gone from about 93 to about 113.

What did Ted's Bulletin and the Italian Store do to get on the list.

Italian Store owners proudly and loudly posted Trump and that Va crazy person signs (Evers?) at home very proud to let you know who they support. So I am very proud to not give them my money.

I am annoyed with them because the last time I was in there (a year ago) they told me they no longer take walk up orders for subs and you had to "call it in in advance". There literally was no one else in line, so I called them, in front of them, on my cell phone, and ordered it while they looked at me and had to take the order. Was ridiculous. This is the one off of Lee Highway.

Target openly discriminating against people based on the color of their skin is enough for me to never shop at that racist business again.

Don’t care if they rescinded their racist policies; they should not have been racist in the first place, and especially not as recently as 2021-2022.

There are a lot of places mentioned here that I never went to in the first place (Walmart, Hobby Lobby), but my list...

Target - their DEI garbage made it easier to totally stop going, but I cut back even before that because the quality of what they sold dropped in recent years.

Michael's - recent shadiness with pricing and poor stock had me finding alternatives.

Anthropologie & Urban Outfitters - They've been caught lots of times stealing products from artists, sometimes getting samples under the guise of wanting to do business with them. Also, they destroy merch and throw it away instead of sending it to an outlet or overstock agent.

Whole Foods - before Amazon, we loved the WF by us. The staff was happy to loved to recommend stuff. Most of the staff left within months of the Amazon takeover. We don't go at all anymore.


There's a fabric store I went to twice for thread that seemed to be staffed exclusively by mean, old ladies. The first time, I thought it was a fluke. The second, I realized that's how they operate. If you're not part of their quilting crew, they are vile. Even if you own an expensive sewing machine. F them! I bought thread charts and order my thread online from a nice woman who ships super fast.

Can we stop putting the names of a business or restaurant without proving an explanation. Someone posted Blue Duck Tavern a few days ago then just left us all hanging as to the justification.

I love Amazon. It saves me so much pointless driving to find out the item I want is out of stock, not there at all, has gone up in price outrageously. I mostly shop there and Trader Joe's.
