Mossad isn’t some benevolent entity who wants to ‘free’ Iranians. They just want a puppet placed there like the Shah so they can control that region and get access to the oil and gas. The US and Israel have no business being part of these protests.
It is astonishing to me how you center your personal feelings about the US and Mossad over the experience of Iranians who have suffered under a horrific authoritarian government.
Do you know any actual Iranians? Ever talk with any? Had conversations about what they think about what is going on?
For context I am a Trump-hating moderate that’s been disgusted by the moral emptiness of the progressive left for some time, but the absolute narcissistic and trash takes I’ve been seeing from progressives on the Iranian revolution have really taken the cake.
I don’t know who the people are here on this site, who are saying the Ayatollahs are great and who won’t hear any criticism of that horrid regime, but on other channels those voices have turned out to be Palestinian Americans. And their hate directed toward the young people of Iran is astounding.
Exactly. It's all about how the Palestinians will be able to keep up their 83-year reign of terror if they lose their primary sponsor. If Iran joins the ranks of more peaceful and pragmatic countries in the region, the pro-terror Palestinian agenda will effectively be toast; they'll have to learn to live in peace with their neighbor or continue their slide towards irrelevance.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:NP. Can someone explain to me like I’m five why some Americans are protesting for the regime and the Ayatollah? I see these videos and pictures of what mostly look like white liberal women who seem to be protesting on behalf of the regime and it is baffling to me. Do they know anything about life under the Ayatollah? I know a ton of Iranians and I don’t know a single one who supports the regime. It is a brutal, cruel regime.
Life under Iran is actually better than in the U.S. . Free healthcare, free college, low crime, no school shootings, . The same rules Israel is crying about exists for their friends Saudi Arabia.
Ending the Iranian regime will mean blowing up one of the best developed ME countries to hell just like Libya and who the hell wants 40m Iranian refugees in Moscow or on boat to Berlin of all of a sudden?
We have to realize humbly that America and Israel are not on the right side here and we have chaos agents who want WW3. China and Russia are sadly acting like adults here
The bolded is a totally laughable statement.
The rest of your statement is ridiculous.
The people there are literally starving.
Inflation in Iran is a persistent crisis, with recent annual rates around 42-52% and much higher food inflation (over 70%), driven by sanctions, currency devaluation (Rial hitting record lows), budget deficits, mismanagement, and reliance on costly imports, leading to severe economic hardship, social unrest, and protests over soaring prices for essentials.
You are either a plant for the Iranian regime or someone who knows nothing about the country.

Israel has killed tens of thousands of Iranian with airstrikes, placing bombs in crowds, assassinations, using of remote activated machine guns, blowing up it embassies, etc. Also Israel’s has manipulated the US in to joining its efforts to kill Iran- placing sanctions, bombing, etc. You pro Israelis hate the Iranian people because they stood up to your oppression and genocide. Iranian know about genocide through starvation having lost a quarter of their population during WW2.
I wish people like you would put the interest of the Iranian people and the US first but that will never happen.
Israel, Israel, Israel. No other topic will do for the pro-Palestinian shill who insists on butting in to every unrelated discussion. Pitiful.

It's absolutely hilarious how Israelis are now all of a sudden concerned with civilian life after all the people they've murdered.
Meanwhile, Iran is under tremendous economic stress due to US/International sanctions, that is what sparked the protests. My understanding is that they were also sparked in part due to a drought that was in large part caused by Israel bombing a major hydroelectric dam during the 12 Day War. The protests were infiltrated by paid Mossad agents/foreign groups, that were taking orders from outside actors, which is why Internet was cut off. These groups were allegedly causing chaos by shooting both cops and protesters, and setting shops, busses, and mosques on fire. This would definitely follow the playbook of past/ongoing US/Israeli operations in Iran - people were organically uprising to protest economic/material conditions, and Mossad immediately took the opportunity to infiltrate and sow chaos.

Speaking of the Iranian revolution, could you please state clearly whether you support the Iranian revolution? Or do you want the Ayatollah to crush it brutally?
Those are your two choices. Which side are you on?
I’m on the side of the Iranian people and not on the side of the brutal theocratic regime that currently rules, to be clear. How about you?
DP Right now, I am on the side of the American protestor who is currently being tear gassed, thrown to the ground, detained, arrested, and murdered in the American streets by our very own American Revolution Guards. Let Iran deal with Iran. We obviously have problems of our own with our government trying to imitate Iran in all the worse ways.
In other words, an isolationist, except when it comes to Israel, where intervention is required to allow Palestinian terror to flourish unrestrained.

While I totally agree with you as well as the overwhelming majority of Americans, if Israel wants us to go to war with them, then the US really has no choice but to comply.
So the question is really how to manufacture consent. I think using the protests and pretending to be concerned about the general Iranian public is an excellent excuse for armed intervention.
