That’s just ignorant. There are players from other teams in the area that could make and start for VDA.
It’s more like VDA has managed to recruit the better set of players, not the best players in DMV. VDA has struggled against plenty of other teams spread over multiple age groups in the DMV.
Trust me when I say parents are getting VDA fatigue. Your teams are no different than any other except you have lured better players that have been developed at other NVA Clubs.
Oh, and BTW I know how you love to claim the 09s made it out of group play before the new players came which isn’t true. Multiple new players played in that postseason including the USYNT player. Same for 08s and the girls that are now freshman. Let’s now forget about 10s even though FVU is better, probably still even with the players who left. Arlington 11s would also tell you to suck it.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing great unlike some of the invalids who think they are so great. Love seeing FVU 10s proving people wrong and I hope FVU 09s also manage to finish in top half of table. Same goes for Arlington teams.
. Again dont confuse 2 top players (1 injured)....the rest not so much. Also, WAGS has been around for 50yrs unfortunately for them ECNL has squeezed them out of importance, the talent is still around, its just not at that tournament.Anonymous wrote:WAGS is a great example of how talent is dispersed way too far in NoVA, it's really sad to see. This is more of a reflection of WAGS falling off then anything else. Keep your shirt on champ!

HAHAHAHA my guess is if you counted passes it was probably 1000 vs 100 but keep thinking your in the same ball park. Your DD wouldnt think twice to move to either of those teams or any ECNL team if they were good enough, but you keep doing you. Make an Insta post or Facebook post to the Grandparents and give them the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon and tell them you basically tied Richmond ECNL lol. This is the best post I have read in awhile.Anonymous wrote:I want to personally thank the FVU ECNL 09s and VRSC 09s for showing us all how us lowly RL and USYS teams are just as good as them. Reason 5342 for FVU NOT to make that mistake again. No one said they said they were “champions” - put putting up a story saying “Sunday results” with a 1-1 score is certainly misleading. May have been tied at the end of regulation, but a tie is not the outcome.
Who cares? The game was competitive and a good one for all the girls to be a part of. All of this nonsense about social media posts is just dumb.
