There are many who will ask me to dictate certain words in their patient record. They find this information from their lawyer.

On the flipside, I know people with severe injuries and illnesses, including chronic pain, patients, who do anything to get back to a more productive lifestyle.

People can’t afford to retire so apply for benefits. Especially older Americans in their 50’s and 60’s who have trouble finding work or people living in poor areas where jobs are not easily available.

Correct. Just fill out the form and some former practicing doctor at Walter reed approves it via his laptop. More benies for life.

Is this really a thread dissing on vets? I am not pro military. I would like to see the defense budget cut significantly. I would like to see the size of our military shrunk. But snakes alive, who shits on kids who signed up at 18 and worked hard giving up their rights and freedoms for enough years to qualify for benefits to deal with harm done to them in service of the country?

Like everything, there are definitely vets who claim to be disabled when they are not to get paid higher benefits. I’m not sure exactly how to prove who is actually disabled and who is not. I know some very healthy looking retired vets who claim a percentage disability. Maybe we need a better definition of disabled.

With AI face recognition it will be easier for lawyers to more quickly piece together photos and proof of disability fraud.

Because people live for freaking ever now and instead of dying from illness or injury they are alive but then disabled...... Instead of being institutionalized and dying at a young age, individuals born with disabilities are living into their 60s and '70s

There's an entire row of handicapped parking at my office of 80k+ cars with disabled veteran plates. The guys hopping out of these cars are in better shape than 95% of Americans.

Unfortunately I know what you are saying. Some of these cases need to be reviewed.

Where is DOGE? There’s tons more fraud here.

If you remove international students from the survey, the rate is even higher than 38%.

The worst part is that pulling temper tantrums qualifies as a disability.

Because dialysis takes hours out of your day and is exhausting but you're still not getting disability.

Republicans’ answer to folks in this situation is suicide. They just want them to die.

Zero evidence, you LIAR.

You are in DC. You see the remfs. The Military people who work in comfy offices.

You don’t see the actual combat veterans who are broken by their service.

Cue: “my husband, my bil, my neighbor’s husband, he has been in the Reserve for 19 years and he’s ok! And he deployed to the United Arab Emirates for 6 months!! It was shockingly horrible and he made it through ok!”

Do you know how many Military members cycled in and out of IRQ and AFG for decades?

I doubt you do, and if you do, I doubt you care.

Come on man. I fought in Fallujah. There were guys that got effed up real bad, and it was horrible seeing some promising young kid get screwed for life and have to fight for benefits on top of it. And it's not like disability payments make up for any of it.

But now, hop on a subreddit or discord dedicated to getting VA disability. It's a complete scam. Vets today literally think they are owed that money. There's an entire industry formed around streamlining the process to file, for a fee of course.

I probably got some stuff I could file for but the whole thing makes me sick.
