Too bad Lightridge didn’t come over.
Battlefield played Independence last year. If Independence would have had their best player playing it would have been a much closer game. She was a senior. Battlefield crushed them last year and I predict the same will happen this year, barring any injuries to Battlefield

My best guess at the top 4.
1. Robinson
2. West Springfield
3. West Potomac
4. Woodson
Curious to see if WS can win it.
Highly unlikely.
Likely:
1) Robo
2) Woodson
3) Fairfax
4) W. Springfield
5) West Po
6) Lake Braddock
7) SoCo
8) Alexandria
Well Woodson was 8-12 last year, seems like they should be #2.
Didn’t Woodson have at least 1 injury that they will be getting back this year? They have some strong offense. A good sophomore attacker and some good middies.
No idea how many injuries Woodson had last year. Woodson's results last year were all over the place. Patriot last year was really a weak district. Woodson and WestPo both got crushed in quarterfinals at states (0-15 & 2-22). Can't say #2 in the Patriot is too high because it wouldn't take much to beat most of the district teams. Hoping the Patriot District turns things around.

I don't see the state bracket on MaxPreps published for 2026. Based on the patterns over the last several years, I would predict Regions A&B in the first semi and C&D in the second semi. 2025 was A/D and B/C. 2024 was A/C and B/D. 2023 was A/B and C/D.
