No one is above the law?
Explain. Exactly what law did he violate?
Shoving a federal agent.
Watch the video.

Your response is pretty predictable for a dem.
I am now a traitor because I share a post accusing Padilla of yelling.
Hyperbolic and angry response
I’m guessing you’re young and naive.

Spanish speaking guy you’ve never seen before, dressed in street clothes, charges toward the DHS Sec. while yelling.
He’s not wearing his security hard-pin, didn’t previously identify himself.
It’s your job to handcuff him.

He wasn't disrupting. He was asking a question at a press conference. The only disruption was when the thugs intervened.
Wasn’t disrupting?! Watch the video. He was interrupting and shoving agents to approach Noem. He needs to behave like a professional.
He was defending himself from their assault after he identified himself as a sitting US senator.
Nope. That's not what happened. He was rude, angry, belligerent, and disruptive.
If that is the standard why wasn’t Marjorie Taylor Greene when she interrupted Biden?
Biden’s a joke. So was Obama. They tried to insult Republicans like MTG, Joe Wilson and even Justice Alito. Padilla was different; he pulled a stunt.
Trump needs to make an example of Alex Padilla, and Mayor Karen Bass too for that matter. She doesn’t look anything like a mayor of a large city like you see in the movies. She has no right to speak to anyone in the White House, nor in Congress for that matter.
Someone keeps posting that people don’t have the “right” to speak. People have the right to speak; they don’t have the right to interrupt a press conference already in progress and shout over the person who is holding the press conference.
Why didn't Noem call off her goons when they shoved the Senator out?
Anonymous wrote:Fox News is not showing the part where he identifies himself as a Senator.
Because, of course they wouldn’t, why give the cult the truth.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Padilla has lived next door here in DC to me since becoming a senator in 2021. Didn't know he was a senator until last year. He isn't well known and understand why the secret service did what they did to protect a cabinet member.
Exactly. Padilla FAFO’d. He doesn’t ok anything like a United States senator. Plus, he’s Democrat. He has no right to speak to Secretary Noem. If he has some sort of question, he can write a letter to Secretary Noem.
Trump needs to make an example of Democrats so they go away.
He didn’t try to ask her a question. He interrupted her and was shouting over her.
He was ruining the press conference for everyone with his theatrics.

She said that?!?!?!?!?
Yep. I guess Trump means to overthrow governors and mayors and hand pick new lackeys.
Every single day is literally worse than the previous day. Our rights are being stripped away a little more with every passing day. No free speech. No right to peacefully protest. According to Noem, no right to elect our own politicians.
Once these rights are gone, it will be nearly impossible to get them back. I’ve told my college-aged kids that they might want to consider building their lives in another country once they graduate. I never thought I would say those words to them.
