I say to kid, lets just go straight I dont know what is going on.
I then see a tiny car that was like one foot off bumper appear out of nowhere and exit off to right.
Dude, your car is so small, and you so close to me you did not appear in my rear view mirror, or side view mirrors.
One of those...say no more...

And no, at 60 in a 55 you are not one of the fast ones. Stay out of the left lane.
Who under 85 uses cruise control?![]()
What a dumb comment. Of course, I use the cruise control.
Using cruise control is so dangerous in this area! If you're on an empty road, sure. But it's not meant for the kind of numbers on DC area highways. You need to be able to constantly adjust to the ebb and flow.
That is what adaptive cruise control does, brainiac. It automatically adjusts speed downward when people in front slow down and speeds up when traffic moves faster. And it maintains a constant distance between you and the car in front. It also hits the brakes!!
What a horrible invention. Another “feature” that enables a driver to pay even less attention and have even less control.
Exactly. PP is too busy on her phone to pay attention to traffic around her.
Nope, don't look at my phone. Not sure what using the cruise has to do with phone usage. I think you're just grasping at straws since you have no idea how to use it.
LOL. You think turning on cruise control is hard? If all of the ancient gramps can do it…
It’s certainly much easier than actively driving.
Enjoy your nap, grandpa!
I wish your name-calling abilities were accompanied by intelligence or simple reading comprehension. I'm the one using the cruise, you idiot.
LOL. Which is how we know you're a grandpa. Duh.

Apparently it doesn't work well enough if you are getting a lot of tailgaters...

Ok, old man. No wonder people have to maneuver awkwardly around you since you aren’t driving with traffic.
Just because you don't know how to use it properly doesn't mean the rest of us don't. I'm neither old nor a man and I most certainly don't hold up traffic.
If you are getting a lot of tailgaters it's probably because you aren't moving with the flow of traffic. Turn off the cruise control FFS.
