I thought they only take from donor pool…Congressional, Our Lady of mercy of mercy, burning tree, maybe some St Barts lacrosse bros for upper school?

This isn’t a serious academic institution. It is a travel sports team that happens to offer classes on the side

Then don't send your boys there, if that's what you think.

Plenty of others do and like the school just fine.

They don't have a choice to. Need to pay to play. Travel sports team style.

This is a bizarre post.

How does an all-boy's Catholic school make this a third world country?

What's a first-world country in your opinion?

Why are you on a Private school forum?

Every time I read someone say this is a "rich country", I expect the rest of the sentence to lobby for more hand-outs for the takers. You can't continue to borrow Trillions and pass it out to buy votes without there being an economic impact.

I think they means this school particularly promotes the separation of children based on income and wealth, thus concentrating poverty and affluence into particular areas of the community. They do this by only recruiting lower school from their country club (i.e., with some tit-for-tat...a different style of handout). The other poster mentions that the people are nominally Catholic, i.e. not truly devout.

First world countries tend to have economic segregation because there are rich people and poor people. Third world have less of it because most everyone is poor. Think Haiti.

Other posters insinuate this school mainly cares about athletics, but really nobody is ultimately elite in that field that comes out of it.

LOL

Nominal Catholics who are rich lacrosse players with mullets. They're just cosplaying education. They want to prepare your kid for d3 college athletics and then take over daddy's real estate business.
