So you'd be fine if your kid just got caught up, decided to stay and ended up suddenly arrested and incarcerated in CECOT (good for the US good for the UK). He (and you) and no notice. No opportunity to contest the allegation. No opportunity to have a lawyer. No opportunity for the two of you to communicate. And no idea when, if ever, he would be released from CECOT. And you're ok with that.

From you description you got pulled over for not moving over when there’s an emergency vehicle on the shoulder. Lean the laws and you won’t get pulled over.

Sure, after you show how the cop knew they were not white as they went by at 65 mph…..

You are psychotic. Immigrants have always been the lifeblood of this country and are the only hope for our future economy. Was it an immigrant who shot up FSU?

Meanwhile this administration’s approach is to instill fear into everyone — no matter strong their legal case for being here— citizens, green card holders, visa holders, asylees and parolees. Arresting a pacifist at his citizenship interview, smashing windows in a car of people here legally waiting for their lawyer.

You may want to life in a fascist state where violence not law is the answer but most Americans don’t.

Yes because all the green card and visa holders being kicked out of the country were actually here illegally?

We used to attract scientists from all over the world and our people benefited enormously from that. Now we are driving even American scientists abroad because knowledge is bad.

Hmmm - I actually think your reaction would depend on whether you were (A) instructed to leave and given a reasonable opportunity to leave voluntarily, or if (B) 6-7 DHS weirdos, wearing masks and refusing to provide proof of their identities, abducted you on the street and proceeded to incarcerate you indefinitely.


The border has been intentionally mismanaged for years and the aftermath is devastating.

We no longer have the luxury of a 42-step bureaucratic process to deal with this issue.

Could be people planning to overstay their Visa and now realized that was not possible anymore? just saying..

Or because several countries have put out travel advisories for the US?

All of my Canadian friends have cancelled their planned trips to the USA. Go visit Canada. Every house is flying a Canadian flag. They spend a lot of money in the US, but not any more. This may not affect you, personally, right now, but it affects the overall economy. Employment falls as demand for goods and services falls. Sooner or later this will reach you.

I know a bunch of people here with green cards that are scared they won't be allowed to return if they leave the US.

Why? Because they have heard stories of others having difficulty reentering.
