Yeah it was weird bc she basically said, time for you to go, this baby is the future and you are the past. But Elizabeth is...pregnant and (to be frank) probably more likely to carry to full term and produce a healthy child. Whereas Spencer and Alex's son will very likely die (especially if he is going to be sitting out on that porch all winter...).
