They probably didn't realize it was the homeowner. My goodness these people have absolutely no fckin shame. Is it a good idea to post the photos of them on the HOA listserv?

Wait it kills the grass? That explains my problem corner, the dogs love it
Dog urine kills some trees too. Red buds are particularly susceptible.
green lawn monocultures also kill trees. if people pick up after their dogs, who cares where they poop?

i did, didn't change what i wanted to say.
You didn't say anything. You asked a question that has been answered over and over and over again. So you didn't read a damn thing.
cool.
anyway, if the owner picks it up, who cares?
People who own the lawn. Have your dog shit on your own lawn. Don't worry about why we care. It'd none of your business.
Put up a fence you control freak, it’s not doing anything to your lawn.

Saw same signs in vacation communities - apparently this is a newer problem as I’ve lived here for over 20 years and never had a problem until maybe 5 years ago. And I mean it’s egregious; leashed dogs being walked over and across lawns - and being allowed to poop. Then the owner makes a hasty retreat back to their house for a bag and then walks all across the same lawn again looking to pick it up.
We have a pocket park on our street that is never used yet the same few owners let their dogs poop everywhere else except in the park. I mean walking up a long private driveway(pipe stem) and allowing the dog to traipse all along the lawns on the way.

If univited people make the bed when they wake up, you'll let them sleep in your bed. Great!
