For example, in 2024 they prosecuted 78 people for making threats against public officials, yet unless it was someone with a van full of explosives or someone caught with a sniper rifle a few dozen yards from his target, then no, most of them DO NOT end up "major news." If everything the FBI prosecuted were "major news" then the daily news would be completely dominated by FBI news.
