Look at Tulane's ED acceptance rate ( close to 70%). Look up the EA rejections and immediate emails to switch to ED2.

US News national rankings, but I would just do so in bulk since it takes something like 20 of them to equal the undergraduate population of one state school. For example, I would just consider the NESCAC schools one school for the purposes of rankings.

Based on these posts, it seems they turn to DCUM to rage about it and try to convince everyone that their school is *actually* really elite.

Ultimately college is about fit, and the guide books are there to help families start their research and list formation, not replace it.
