This is MASSIVELY unfair to the poor kid! I'm glad you fell in love with your child, but what if you hadn't? Imagine being a child with a disinterested parent who never wanted you.

OP, this is a terrible idea and IMO also morally wrong.

The OP is from December 2024. In what world is that not current times? Granted, things are infinitely worse today than they were four months ago but still, it's not like this was from 2014. That being said, I was hoping the revival was from OP with an update, not someone wanting to say that you shouldn't be having kids because of the environment.

Thankfully with the new admin things are getting much better. Still, it's up to the OP if she wants kids. Since he did a bait and switch I would probably divorce him. Or give him an ultimatum. Women have a finite time to get their family planning in. If the man doesn't work out you can always find another, kids however cannot wait.

What difference does this make? I mean, seriously, it's 2025, who cares whether someone gets divorced or has their marriage annulled? Annulment is a stupid and fake idea that the Catholic church came up with in one of their many ways to twist facts to pretend that things are ok.
