The criminals will be gone? But are they the one writing C++ code at 50% discount? Are they they ones replacing the shingles on your roof? Nope. These will stay. And guess what? You will still compete for jobs with them.

Then they will stop moving to dismiss cases in immigration courts, and remove the judges who rubber stamp this.
Not clear if they can reverse decisions already made, reopen cases, or speed up the open cases that have dates years in the future.
Checking against Social Security records will find millions who are working while illegal.
If they are illegal they don’t have a social security number to pay FICA. And probably being paid under the table.
They steal children's SSNs, use dead people's or make up random numbers.
BS!

If all these people stay then how do you deport 20 million per their promise ? Illegal immigrants with criminal records represent such a tiny portion that I'm not sure if this fits with the promise of all out deportation

Is that both parents or only one? If its both then pretty sure that removes citizenship for Baron.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:people need to start reporting criminals and illegals in their community and there has to be some kind of small reward. That's the only way this would work.
Law enforcement already know these people. No need to report to them. They are the criminals who have been arrested and let off over and over.

I hope it becomes possible somehow for us to stop birthright citizenship. That will remove a lot of the incentive. I believe the constitution is not as clear about this as some people think, since it assumes those people were legal immigrants who come here. In any case, I hope we could get the votes now to change that (even if it’s a specific voting question during the next election).
Birthright citizenship is in the constitution
thats actually debatable- many originalists, like the Justices on the Supreme Court, believe that the 14th amendmnet was wrongly interpreted b/c it was in the best interest of the robber Barons to have a large immigrant workforce, we needed more immigrants to accomplish our Manifest Destiny. There is an argument to be made that the authors of the 14th amendment only meant birthright for the desendants of slaves and free white men. the 14th amendment granted birtright citzenship right away to the masses of immigrants that were coming in at that time but it was never granted to Mexican and Hispanic americans who lived in the border states and many who had american passports were deported to Mexico.
Britain got rid of birthright citzenship - they had granted citizenship to many people from the commenwealth countries rigt after independence so were working from the same fears. They didnt apply it retroactively even though even more than americans you can prove your ethnic heritage is English, Welsh, Scottish. They can also repeal the Immigration act of 1965 and retroactively repeal anyone's citizenship who came then i guess. that is my nightmare scenario b/c then i'll only have a useless pakistano passport. maybne time to buy property in greece and get a EU citizenship. Maybe they'll allow a golden visa type situation for the Sundar Pichais and Satya Nadellas but Bannon wants them gone.

Our education system will be SO much stronger without them and having to devote 90% of our resources to ELL/ESL programs.
As a public elementary school teacher I can assure you that FAR more resources go into dealing with "ADHD" and other "disabilities" that are just caused by screen addiction and horrific lack of parenting. Our one school has 2 EL teachers and 9 (NINE) special education teachers and teaching assistants working with these students in Gen Ed classrooms (I'm not even counting the sped teachers that work in self contained programs.)
Stop spewing ignorance about disabled kids. You are not a psychiatrist.
NP. Stop spewing ignorance about ESL kids. Kids with adhd are far more disruptive. I stand by PP’s assessment. Many of my classmates were ESL. The ADHD kid was the problem.
