Maybe UGA and GT are converging. But UGA does not come close to Emory. I know several UGA honors students rejected from Emory last year.
Hard to compare acceptance rates and selectivity amongst the UGA, GT and Emory. They have different missions and attract different sets of applicants. All three are great though!
Yall don't this false equivalence thing a lot. All 3 are colleges, one can easily tell which is more selective than the other. If one school can attract higher caliber applicants than the others, the missions of the school does not matter.
