Of course there are always exceptions where the most athletic kids prefer soccer over other sports. Hence, they might be willing to put in the necessary technical training on a daily basis at an early age.
The best players are the fast players with incredible technical skills (ie Mbappe). But if players were born with speed, they should work on their technical skills. And for slow players, they need to work on their technical skills, soccer IQ (positioning, situational awareness, etc.) has the speed of play.
Speed of play and speed of good decision-making are the best counters against fast/physical players.
I don't know, why don't you provide the jersey sales numbers?
Parents decide which sports they put their kids.
So how do the so-called most talented kids choose which sport they want to play?
If your parents put you in basketball or baseball from you're 5 years old and you become a good basketball or baseball player, how does that mean you're a better natural talent than a soccer player?
