Fancy kitchens. Often people with the fanciest kitchens and appliances aren't great cooks.

I’m introvert.
I just want to live quietly with my money and my love ones. Do everything I want to do. And spend most of my time not talking or meeting anyone I don’t want to.

You sound like my father. I hope you get together with other families frequently and take your kids outside your town to show them new places. We had a home-based childhood and grew up socially awkward.

Same here.

It's always so perplexing to me when non-kid adults visit and post on any dcurbanmom forum.

Me too. What brings child-free-by-choice folks to a local message board titled "DC Urban Moms and Dads"?

It's always so perplexing to me when DCUMers think you have to have kids and live in DMV to use the internet.

Same vibes as atheists who go to religious communities and talk about belief in sky fairies.

Exactly. They must be seen!

You clearly haven't been on an Alaska inland passage cruise.
No but my 75 year old parents are cruising to Alaska in May. I’ll save it for then.

Kids love it too. Do you have kids?

You’re kind of a loser if you’re “child free” posting on a parenting board, though.

I think you might be kind of a loser if you can't figure this out despite Jeff having explained it multiple times. People google certain topics and often are directed to this board. You may have noticed that there are many topics available to chat about that have nothing to do with kids. Then once a googler is here they find it's a great board that is totally anonymous unlike most boards. So they stay and they may actually have opinions about kid issues too. They are allowed to post them despite you not understanding why they would want to. Let me know if there is anything else I can clear up for you.

Well done PP. Despite their presumed superiority, it’s kinda surprising people couldn’t figure that out.

You don't know people with taste. That's on you.

+1. And posting that you are proud not to have kids. Get a life.

Mostly we come here just to tell you guys that we don't want kids, and how much we hate soccer. Sometimes it's to look at the beauty forum or argue about politics. But mostly just to draw you into asking why people without kids are on this free forum.
