It wasn’t the cartel, for crying out loud. An innocent person doesn’t put a gun to his head and drive down the street away from cops, and be negotiated for hours to get out of the car.
The case was lost at jury selection. Plain and simple.

His daughter believing it was a drug deal gone bad is important. She was an 8 year old and I find it hard to believe she slept through that whole thing given the dog was barking furiously and neighbors all the way down the street could hear the dog barking.

For some reason, the kids weren’t used as witnesses even though they were the closest witnesses and only ones there
