It is not the full and complete truth. And no I am not going to continue this by sharing it, it’s not my story to share just as it isn’t yours if you don’t know the full story. Don’t continue posting this link like you have for years, we get it you hate the guy.

This is the new low and old new which is not the complete story. Any that knows news stories knows they are not the full and complete story.

If you hate him fine but trying to ruin a program with old and inaccurate stories is pathetic.

Isn’t that the guy that became Revolution’s TD? Wow. Seems like a great guy to do business with!

They did make some offers, yes. My understanding is that many FCV GA players are exploring their options and know that they effectively have a guaranteed offer at VRSC if they want it. This situation has been made more complicated for everybody by a higher than usual amount of upheaval with so many area clubs for next year. In particular, the Union and Brave merger to FVU which means a decent number of (former) ECNL players will be looking for a new club. So it’s going to take some time to fill out rosters. I think VRSC is hoping to keep a good number of FCV United players “in their back pocket” in case they only end up getting a few FCV GA players when the dust settles.

So they had sham tryouts? Have they not sent out enough offers to field teams? If the FCV girls don't come over en masse, is the plan to field their NCSL teams as GA?

Offers came in mid February and there were enough questions that current FCV GA players didn’t accept right away. They didn’t need to since there was no deadline to accept. At every age group, most players were going to consider coming as a group or not at all.

Revolution has not rushed the process and now it’s looking like they will get 10+ current FCV GA kids at every age group.

How would you possibly know that 10 will be coming across in every age group?

FCV parent here, completely couldn’t agree more. Painfully untrue.

Not true. Offers came with a deadline of 48 hrs. When barely any accepted they extended. No chance there will be 10 at every age group. Not when we are hearing of so many defections already.

HIGHLY question this info as well. Current FCV parent here. Word is, older groups are going to be broken up in many directions. Younger groups might get lucky but even then they're lucky to get 10. The 2010's for sure won't be fully intact, most will try to follow BP.

Are any FCV GA players staying at FCV?

Not many but there are some

What will lead a current FCV player to choose FCV over VRSC? I understand why someone might choose VRSC (follow coaches, field certainty) or ECNL (established programs, stronger teams) but not why a player would choose FCV. I’m not saying I think it’s a bad decision or that no FCV players will make it, I just want to understand the rationale.
