“And the most radicalizing thing for me in the eight days I spent in Moscow was not just the leader of the country,” Carlson said during a recent interview at the World Government Summit, calling Putin “capable.”
“What was very shocking, very disturbing was the city of Moscow, where I’d never been … it was so much nicer than any city in my country,” he said, calling the Russian capital “so much cleaner, and prettier aesthetically — its architecture, its food, its service — than any city in the United States.”

He obviously didn't get out of the tourist areas.

I am sure nothing new was said there by either of them.
Are you somehow affiliated with Russia or Ukraine?
It’s just another nothingburger that will be forgotten in a week or two max.
It's weird that you don't instinctively understand that an interview with an adversarial head of state is interesting to educated and politically curious people. It's normal for such people to be interested and curious about issues beyond their own nation's borders.
It's understandable to be interested in a legitimate, inquisitive and hard-hitting interview. But that's not at all what it was. It was Tucker Carlson handing Putin a platform to peddle his deranged propaganda to Tucker's conservative American audiences. What's weird is that you don't instinctively understand the difference.

right wingers love Putin/russia without realizing he actually behaves very similarly to blm / black nationalist types that right wingers claim to hate
Putin’s raison d’etre is functionally “we wuz kangz” but for Russian people
I stopped being pro-Russia about 15 years ago. I had such high hopes for the Russian Federation, after the breakup of the Soviet Union and the chaotic period of Russian Mafia era only to find Putin has turned it into his own greedy, corrupt kleptocracy, dialed back freedoms, and poisoned the Russian people against the west with all of his propagandizing.
