NCS place may be perfect for you, but it’s not for me and others.
NCS is a bit deluded in that they like to think everything is perfect and label anyone who points out problems a “trouble-maker”. If you do not agree, or if you describe what you see and it does not fit the image they have you are being negative, you are the problem. They basically gaslight you.
This is why families that want a school they can work with when things don’t go according to plan should not choose NCS.
It’s not to late to transfer. Life is short.
It sounds like you and your daughter will be better off in a different environment. We applied but if admitted will not be attending. The conversation I’ve witnessed here clarified that for me. What nasty uncaring people?!?
I posted that comment above and it was sincere if they truly are at NCS and are unhappy (which I don’t think they are really an NCS parent). If they are then I meant it sincerely - life is short and that is a lot of money to not be happy. They could transfer. People transfer in and out of all do these schools even as juniors and seniors.

Not an NCS parent as I am sure others are not either but there is an NCS troll that comes on every thread and it is tiring. No matter what the subject matter - even if it is about an all boys school they find a way to bring NCS into it and trash the school.

DP. I am not an NCS parent but your posts are exhausting and I can only imagine parents at the school must be exhausted by you. There are other schools and your negativity is just overbearing. You could and should transfer.

Or anywhere. I guarantee if you were at another school you would be complaining and be negative there as well. NCS admissions I think is really rethinking this admit. They post all of the time nothing but negativity. I can only imagine what it is like for their kid to listen to this.

NCS admissions is entirely new this year and has no time to regret decisions they had nothing to do with.
I see that NCS people do not want attention brought to this area. They have hired and moved a bunch of people around. They throw around new titles, but what has changed? I’ve seen no evidence of a shift in culture
I don’t believe NCS is a dumpster fire. The education these kids receive is phenomenal. Some of the school’s recent actions seem performative given recent history however. I hope I am wrong.
