Elizabeth Taylor was only 5’2”. I’m sure there are plenty of beautiful women of shorter stature. If the proportions all work that’s what matters.

Also, my husband and I fit like a glove during sex. He can also easily pick me up. How does a short woman even wrap her legs around a tall guy—she can’t.
What does his height have to do with wrapping your legs around him? That is a function of whether he's fat, not tall. I can easily wrap my legs around my 6'3" DH while he's pounding me.

This comment perfectly encapsulates the truth, which is that men do prefer women who are shorter than they are. But 5'5" is on the tall side of average for a woman.
To someone who is 6' or more, we're all short! So I guess we're all hot. Hurray.

Increasingly I feel like the goal is specifically to reach the point where people are like "whatever, men who like shorties are probably pedophiles" and the short women who start or encourage these threads are just poking and poking until they get that response and then can act shocked and offended.

I don’t know if it’s a short woman starting these posts or a regular run of the mill troll. As a short woman I never ask myself these questions. I am curvy and the burden is convincing the world that you are not sexually available, not attracting men.

I have observed that lesbians who are bigger/taller/less feminine/less girly tend to fall for substantially shorter/smaller/girlier women. And a gazillion men do too.

I’m 5’2 married to someone nearly 6’. I love how my head fits right on his chest when he hugs me. I am petite (110 lbs) and he is 190 so almost double me. I love having someone bigger than me. He has broad shoulders and just feels safe. He can also reach things for me lol, which is a huge plus. I think we all just end up finding what we like in our partner regardless of the size difference. I’ve never been able to put my head on a guy’s shoulder so that would feel weird to me!

My 6’ DH’s prior long term girlfriend before he married me (5’1”) was tall (like 5’9ish I believe). I saw a photo of her in a cousin’s wedding album once and was joking about he really doesn’t have a type! From talking about dating history I know he has also had a curvy girlfriend (whereas I’m petite) and has dated different races (I am white). He is attractive so I’m pretty sure has had his pick of women before me and I think being attractive/well put together is the key factor. Men really are into all different types of women so I don’t see how you can say one size is better than another. I love being short, but that is what I know, and I would hope that tall women feel comfortable in their bodies as well.
