But what about the rest?
Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro and others slung lies and bogus conspiracy theories that were even more defamatory about Dominion. FOX needs to cut them loose as well.

+1 And keep in mind that there was a ton of stuff that Fox redacted so we didn’t see it. Could easily be Tucker lambasting Rupert, Lachlan, etc. etc.
Except maybe for Rupert, the Lachlans are liberals who don't want to be running a right-leaning news network. They would prefer it be like the other networks but with more tabloid stuff and hotter anchors.
My understanding is that Rupert only cares about the money, but Lachlan is a true believer. The other son, who doesn't run Fox, and his wife are liberals.

With tears in their eyes, calling him "sir."
Interesting that people are reading this as anything else than Fox News shooting itself in the foot. Tucker is one of the only reasons people watch Fox News. There isn’t a cable news anchor out there who carries their network as much as Tucker carries Fox News. This would be like Sirius firing Howard Stern. It’s a loss for Fox News, not Tucker. Tucker will probably sign a record breaking deal at Sirius and have a similar, but bigger, platform than Megyn Kelly along with a podcast that generates millions for him as well. Rumble to Spotify are probably clamoring to sign him to big contracts as well.
I'm pretty sure Dominion was a loss for Fox.
Will losing Tucker hurt Fox? Yes. Would keeping Tucker hurt more? Yes.
One theory is that Rupert watched the Sixty Minutes report last night on R@y Epp$ and saw another giant defamation case coming down the pike. Carlson has repeatedly been “reporting” things on his show that have been deemed false and doesn’t retract them. Ray is one. The “unarmed” January 6ers is another. He said the Russian propaganda that Ukrainian casualties outnumbered those of Russia seven to one as true. He also has praised Orban up and down without ever disclosing that his own father lobbies for Hungary.
Epps is another guy whose life got ruined by FOX News and right wing media. Just another example of some old coot who got sucked down the rabbit hole of right wing lies, only to have it all go to sh*t and to have his fellow right wingers turn on him and his family with death threats and harassment, because of whatever stupid new conspiracy theory du jour.
Um, I watch the 60 Minutes segment and cannot explain for the life of me why this Ray person is not in prison right now.
Can one of the really savvy people here explain this? Because I’m pretty sure we’ve sent plenty of people to prison over J6 charges that were way less inciteful than what he did.
Why isn’t he in prison?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The good news is that we'll know one way or another whether Tucker is a Russian Agent or not.
My guess is if he's a Russian asset, they would desperately want to assess his mental stability and whether he'll flip on them. But if his masters can't assess whether he's a liability, because they can't get near him from all the press attention, if Tucker really is a Russian agent, he's on borrowed time.
You sound like a serious person.
