I mean it's up the air, right? She was technically fired but the only people who know that (or will admit they know it) are Roman, Tom, and Kerry. It's very clear Frank and Carl are moving to support her (I loved when one of they jumped in with "I think it's important for the markets that Frank, Carl, and Gerry be mentioned in the official statements" -- yes, *for the markets*). roman didn't want to fire her anyway and Tom is going to be 100% self-interested here. Kerry is the wildcard and I could definitely see her throwing wrenches in all kinds of things actually.
I thought it was interesting when Roman was clearly looking for that maternal/protective thing from Gerry towards the end of the episode and she just walks away because she was still mad at him for firing her. It was sad because roman seemed like a little kid in this episode, but also I don't really blame Gerry.
