He did tweet in effect for everyone to better be quiet when he rarely tweets, just as the Whittle collapse.
Massively creepy and icky in my opinion

Hundreds hahahaha I am sure that the administrator could pull my IP address and tell you that (1) I am not the original poster, (2) do not start/nor have started a thread bad-mouthing Maret, and (3) have not posted hundreds of times about Maret or any other school. My kid is at Maret. Last thing I want is to bash the school. I am presenting our perspective.
Every school, like every job, has its plusses and minuses. I question Maret's Whittle choice. I am not on the Board. I was not on the committee choosing the candidates. I merely am a little parent who simply attended the meetings. I don't like the choice. I don't know what went on behind the scenes. Objectively, and taking a step back, it seems strange that ANY school would take a chance on Dennis given what happened at Whittle. It's that simple. We're giving it a year.
Back in my day, my independent school picked a new HoS after a very sudden departure of the old HoS (he died). The parents liked the guy, found him personable, but he had no business leading the school. He left after two years. The school is still standing today and doing quite well, so a strong school will manage through even terrible leaders. Let's just see if Maret is strong. I hope it is. My kid is there, and I hate to move him. But, I will if I need to do so
I take a lot of time away from these boards as they drive me bonkers. I actually only found my way back b/c my kid told me he had heard about DCUM chatter re Maret. Now I remember why I stay away. Good night. I'm done.
- Signed. Maret parent with happy kid, but parent who never would have picked Dennis.

You should pull your kid and leave the school instead of wasting your time posting multiple threads. Maybe you can find a HOS who you would 💕 at another school.
