Just go to the private sector if you want more money. I don’t understand federal employees who continue to complain so much.
I made the move to government, make 1/3 of my prior salary, and am happy with my decision. Many people find the benefits of federal employment worth the salary loss. I’m not worried about a brain drain.

Yes, helping government employees capped at $183.5k is the top priority for both the Dems and GOP. Biden, Trump, and DeSantis each have pledged to address the issue.
