DP. Many, many gay people have chosen to be in hetero relationships because it was more socially acceptable. Do you think that could not happen in reverse? If the alternative is going through life with a partner?

I actually don't think that will happen. I think it's more likely straight women with degrees will marry men without college degrees. Are you straight? If so, would you want to marry another woman and have sex with her even though you're not aroused by her or turned on by her body?

Yes, I am straight and no, I would not want to marry a woman. But the social norms that my teenage daughter is growing up with are completely different than what I experienced, and they appear to be willing to get creative in order to have companionship.

hard agree here- I'd much rather be in a sexless marriage with another woman as long as. got to step out and have sex with men. this would actually be a dream scenario. There was this cheesy show- the fosters and I watched it just for the 2 moms. Life would be so much better with 2 moms for everyone and sperm doner men. Marriage doesnt have to be about sex. This sounds so much better to me, share all of the technicalities and difficulties with a lovely responsible adult and have my own room at the end of the day with no snoring or someone else's mess and share parenting responsibilities, someone to chat with and watch tv with and you have sex with someone outside of the marriage. Sounds ideal. like so so perfect. like what off teh furry is that you live with you best friend and own a hoe with them and raise your kids with together but sex is divorced from that, no boring duty sex, no sexual hang ups, no mismatched libidos getting in the way of who is making dinner and picking up the toothpaste. It sounds so much better than what we have now.

Here’s a brutal truth. The pretty college women will not have a problem finding suitable partners if they are smart about it. The others, there will be more single women or they will partner with non college men. It is what it is.

Definitely. But there has to be drive and learning. High school does not prepare you enough for most jobs. Playing video games usually isn’t a ticket to earning big bucks. Many men hear college is dumb and then just flounder along without the biological clock pushing them forward in maturity.

Also trade school options aren’t really what this discussion is about. It’s about women having more education than men and how that plays out in dating.
