The Texas Rangers can only be assigned to areas of the border that are under state or local control. This fake tractor trailer came through at a border crossing, which is under federal control.

Since Biden has proven incapable of securing the border, Governor Abbott is implementing new truck check points. He shouldn't have to do this... because, again, it is the role of the federal government.

I grew up a little North of Brownsville, TX. Oh yeah. Nobody went out at night as the illegals and hunters would be out.
