I only shower every other day.
I eat in bed.
I love trash TV.
Occasionally I don’t brush my teeth before bed.
I refuse to buy designer items even though I can afford them.
I love to cruise.

My favorite of our family cars is the junky, rusty old pickup. My daily driver is a 2016 Audi, because I don't really trust the 25 year old pickup on 66, but I feel much more at home in the latter.


I eat instant ramen uncooked right out of the bag because I’m lazy.

I go to McDonald’s drive through about twice a year

I prefer my Subaru over the BMW.

You know there is a difference between real wasabi made out of rhizome and is thick and pasty while fake wasabi is puréed from horseradish.

That’s not trashy.

I suspect a lot of the wasabi in sushi from Japanese Maki bars are fake since wasabi plants that are native to Japan are among the most expensive in the world.


You missed the intention here, love. Thank you for wasabisplaining though - that was sort of cute.

I moved to Potomac during a very hot summer and DH and I were fresh out of grad school and driving a old Honda Civic with a/c on the fritz. So I rolled down the windows and hung my feet out of the passenger side window and drove into the driveway of our new house like that. I thought it was trashy and might make a bad impression on the new neighbors but I was too hot to care.

I do this only at the high end hotels where they give out the good stuff. Even if I don’t use all of it at once, I put them all in my luggage so I get a new batch the next day. I have tons of sewing kits, nail kits, shower caps, and little bottles of hair products.

Bad habit? What? Not the PP and I don’t take the toiletries but I always bring food with me to hotels. Usually some apples or berries or baby carrots. I like my fruits and veggies.



Ha! I am the PP (that takes toiletries too) but this is exactly what I like to bring! I don’t like salads but want my fruits and veggies. I even microwaved a sweet potato at a 5 star hotel once lol.
