I was going to post this. I was nerdy and my best friend was punk and had part hot pink hair and we used to love to go there to shop for Dock Martins and T-shirts. All the guys with Mohawks used to hit on her and seemed confused by my presence .

There was a clothing store that closed in the early 90s. I can’t remember the name and it’s driving me crazy.

It’s similar to Up Against the Wall in that it was extremely hip, not just trendy. It’s not Commander Salamander. The name sounds like Boogie Nights, but it’s obviously not that.

Is there a way to see a list of stores from the early 90s?

The name rings a bell, but I think I found the place. It was likely the Lantham Hotel. I found it after someone on DCUM mentioned Jose Andres bought the old Lantham Hotel in Georgetown. I looked it up, and I think that might be it.

Incidentally, I looked up Chadwick's. There's a spy scandal associated with that restaurant. There was a spy story associated with Au Pied de Cochon in the 80's also.
