Not sure what the point of this post is. Should we enumerate all the billionaires and celebrities who have donated to Democrats?

The point is that Youngkin is testing the waters for a presidential run.

Good.

For the best. He will be nominated and lose and then maybe he will go away.

Trump has a better than 50-50 chance of being re-elected if he gets the nomination. The margin in 2020 was very close, where only a few tens of thousands of votes going the other way could have won it for him.

The GOP is playing the electoral college game better than the Dems. Don't dismiss him, or you'll get 2016 again.

Very few of us are dismissing anything. However we also saw what happened in 2018 and 2020 and 2022, and we take some lessons there, too.

I feel like several angry toads have claimed that Trump doesn’t mean anything to the GOP anymore. What’s this? He still does? “Moderates” still suck at choices? Huh.

The GOP Hogan defines, fiscal restrain, getting government off our backs, does not jibe with the massive economic ruins the last three GOP presidents left, nor the government intrusion into businesses, women's health, book banning and other aspects of everyday life.

The GOP is simply dead, no matter how much traditional conservatives want to suggest otherwise.
