Trump has a better than 50-50 chance of being re-elected if he gets the nomination. The margin in 2020 was very close, where only a few tens of thousands of votes going the other way could have won it for him.

The GOP is playing the electoral college game better than the Dems. Don't dismiss him, or you'll get 2016 again.


Very few of us are dismissing anything. However we also saw what happened in 2018 and 2020 and 2022, and we take some lessons there, too.
