Not ND. Apps continuing to rise, acceptance rate continuing to fall. REA acceptance rate about 17% this year.


Williams has a sub 10% acceptance rate- not exactly open admission

Georgetown is a big pain. Unlike most every other school, they don’t use the common app, which adds unnecessary busy work when applying. It’s a great school, but many kids growing up in this area want to go away for college if they can. Those two factors combined might make a senior less apt to add Georgetown to the list.


Georgetown is crumbling. Cramped. Dirty. Underfunded.

No longer a hot school among top privates in DC or in New England.


And those. Are the people. Who matter.


Not really. I'd care more about the reputation in major cities with vibrant economies if I was applying.
