Gas prices have gone down so inflation will likely be lower.

Fear not. Biden has a plan.

Gas prices down.

Economy is booming, even during a pandemic. Biden doesn't run a flashy ship but he is playing the long game and getting it done.

Big money is smart money. IOW, inflation isn't going to be an issue. It is right wing talking point de jour.

Paul Krugman is not what I would refer to as "smart". He is pointing at a short-term snapshot of a bond market index and using that to counter the argument that inflation is serious. Anyone who has seen a bond-vs-interest chart knows that the correlation is only on long-term basis and that short-term movements can be in counter-intuitive directions.

I don't know why the left holds on to Paul Krugman. This is the guy who predicted a recession after the 2016 election. He is the guy that keeps crying wolf and the leftists are the villagers who keep showing up because they are secretly wishing for some wolves to show up and eat all the sheep so that they can finally rebuild a flock with certified non-racist non-cis-normative sheep.

Krugman started as an economist 3-4 decades ago but has spent 20+ years as a propagandist and it shows. His inflation columnn was as pathetic as his prediction that the Internet was just another fax machine...

With inflation running the way it is, these accounts are declining in value fast.

Well, that's one way to help repay student loans...
