I suppose there will be some appreciation in your Chevy Chase Village neighborhood as MoCo continues to lose jobs, raise taxes and attract a high need population. You will continue as an affluent enclave encircled by homeless encampments.

WTAF?!
Given that most DEI means: hire more black people no matter what, discriminate against white people so black people can catch up, and include everyone but white males, I agree that DEI should be flushed down the toilet.
I still don’t understand why so much emphasis is being placed on the shrinking Black minority as every year Hispanics are becoming the dominant minority and soon a majority.
Is it white guilt over slavery or white avoidance knowing that they will soon be a minority and are setting their race up for equitable treatment.

I'm not particularly excited to watch our education rank sink to the basement as we let the dumbest parent in every school district ban whatever book from the curriculum they don't like/understand. Thats what people don't' get about this parents first nonsense. The biggest idiot at the school board meeting who gets all his news from the crazy parts of the internet will now get to decide what your child learns or is deprived of learning.
And businesses will bail or reconsider moving here as a result.

This. If anyone thinks "CRT" is taught in VA schools they deserve what they get.

Youngkin can at least help reverse the travesty visited on TJ and the Governors School.
Doubtful. Do you think the FCPS board would go back to no URMs or just close the school if they were faced with the option? I’m guessing this board would just close the school
DP. What are you talking about? In what world did TJ ever have "no URMs"? Oh right - never.
