We called it twenty years ago-the quagmire that resulted from the neocons and the baby bush cabal rush to war and knew the military was incapable of winning throughout the Middle East and South Asia. Biden absolutely made the right call because the military could not be trusted. Read the Afghanistan Papers if you really want to know the depths of the military’s lies and dishonesty in manufacturing their betrayal to the American people.

Confusion. Remember, Biden was telling the world that the Afghani government would hold. That Taliban would not take over. Just days before it fell.
How did State contact the Americans? Emails? Texts? Phone calls. What did they tell them and how did they tell them to leave?
Did they say, "for your safety, you should leave NOW?"
So you need the government to hold your hand? Being told to leave isn’t enough?
The question is: what did they say? Did they really tell them to leave--while Biden was saying the Afghani government was stable?
And, did people actually get the messages?
Yes, they really did tell them to get out of the country. Repeatedly. By emails, by phone calls, websites, by many channels. They told people to leave repeatedly, over the course of several months. They offered assistance with paperwork, with logistics, with airfare. They did literally everything short of physically kidnapping people and throwing them onto planes.
