It is bad to start at 19% approval for an invasion. Venezuela will require troops on the ground and massive payouts to select oil companies. The oil industry will be pissed if Trump starts picking winners and losers. The independent and major oil companies who are not picked will be at a huge competitive disadvantage.

I think there are real opportunities for other republican candidates to primary pro-Trump republicans. The fear has historically been that Trump will come out against these people but now that will just give them extra/free press.
