I am grateful this is my biggest "problem" today. I am sending good vibes to all those dealing with sickness and uncertainty.

I have always assumed this to an extent but wondered how explicitly. Can you include link??
It was someone being interviewed on WAMU. I'll try to find it for you.

We’re doomed. Lock up your grandparents.
This kind of thing should be criminalized. To fly when you have been tested for coronavirus and endanger that enclosed space with recycled air. Or that father who took his other daughter to a dance, or that patient who violated quarantine to attend a party at Dartmouth business school. This is outrageous.

I emailed my children’s teacher a question and she said she is home with the flu. How does she know it is the flu? Most people with mild cold and flu symptoms are just staying home and not being tested, right? Certainly there are not enough tests to test every single man woman and child who runs a fever.

Ugh. There was a serious accident and an elderly family member is hospitalized. They may pull through, but may have lasting health consequences. Many in my immediate and extended family are now flying to see that individual, and some are elderly. I'm driving, but I would not want to fly now--tough though given the family situation.
Yeah, very selfish of that person
I don't like the idea of the flying family members being allowed to see the already compromised hospitalized person. Hopefully doctors step in or something. All those elderly flying and going into hospitals right now - I understand but can't they FaceTime or something. Hopefully all works out well for you all.
I'm the PP with the hospitalized family member. Tbh I'm not sure this occurred to them--coronavirus concerns have not been mentioned, AFAIK. The accident just happened early this week, and several family members immediately made flight plans. Will cross my fingers and hope for the best.
