Well they deliver on most fronts except for the lavish houses. Monique is the only one with a lavish house. Robyn lives in Odenton, the new girl lives in Carroll county by Westminster, Karen lives in a sad 80's McMansion and Gizzelle's house is a miss too.

Yuck! The new girl lives in Carroll County? WTH? Gizelle's house is hella tacky. Karen's house is definitely a sad 1980s mess.

I'm guessing Wendy is in Carroll County because she works at Hopkins. These houses definitely don't measure up to some of the other RH shows but housing is expensive around here. You can't get anything high-end and new/totally updated for less than 2 million in Potomac or Bethesda.

Wendy is QUITE full of herself. When she ran down her degrees and achievements, I was totally turned off.

+2, Carroll County is definitely, not the place to be. Even Karen had enough sense to move to Great Falls. I am hoping this is Wendy's only season. I mean I live in Moco proper and would qualify much more than she would in Carroll county. TBH, I find Wendy Osefo tacky and I am turned off. All of the women are quite accomplished in various ways but they do not do boisterous bragging.

All the women do it on all the reality shows. Not just Potomac. Not just black women. Worse it's all fake hair. All the women are using weaves or wigs and they won't leave them the f alone. Watch older shows from BH or OC and you'll see them constantly pulling their hair forward. It's trashy. So many of the women have horrible table manners too. People who wave their forks around and use them to point etc is gross and watch how many of them do it.

Pretty sure, we have all seen Giselle's and Robyn's real hair along with Ashley (there were episodes where they went to the hair salon). TBH all reality tv people wear fake hair. Monqiue has also worn her "real" hair. I suspect Karen may be dealing with some hair loss due to age but whatevs.

The real question is how do we feel about the newcomer Wendy Osefo? P Personally, I am underwhelmed. I don't like the new pick. I think they should have chosen someone who was like Katie Rost or Monique. I could get rid of whiny Candiace as well.

did you see eps 4 of season 5. when robyn and wendy were drinking mad dog 20/20 in the park with their kids. They were looking like two old g's. The sad part is they drove there and would have to drive home.

I hope they didnot get pulled over by the police because drinking and driving with your kids in MD is like double everything. I hear some police departments falsify reports that don't match the dash cam similar to maryland transportation authority. They do that to make is sound bad in court.

what do you think about the two women drinking in the public park and drving their kids home.

Who is Dr Wendy Osfo
If you watch reality tv, you are now familiar with the name Wendy Osfo along with her lovely family. Wendy appears on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5. Some think that she has accomplished alot during her time on this planet along with her husband. Wendys life story fits the American dream as it sold to world . During her TV appearance, Wendys background may not come forward due the pain that maybe burred deep in Nigerian culture.

How did Wendy experience coming to America

Wendy Osfo mother was an immigrant from Nigeria. Wendys mom move to the United States for a better life which is similar to many that have immigrated to America through out history. To add to this journey, Wendys mom brought two children with her.

At this point in time, people dont know the reason for her mother leaving Nigeria or the method used to obtain the money to move to America. According to rumor, Wendys mom may have an OSU bloodline. With this bloodline, a person maybe limited in their chances to advance in Nigeria. We do know that Wendys mom obtained a bachelors degree , maybe an advanced degree and joined a womens sorority social group while in the United States and raised her family. During the day to day survival of Wendys mom, she was able to guide her daughters to seek education and , this has allowed Wendy to advance her life .

The secret cultural practice of Nigerians
If you dont know , the internet has been spreading rumors that Wendy is of the OSU blood line. There is a side of the Nigerian cultural that is not talked about on Boom Bat.
Tufiakwa.

Well, allegedly , to Eddies family Wendys family is from the wrong side of the village. This may go back to Nigerians cultural history dating back to the time before the British came and colonized the region now labeled Nigeria . The term OSU has existed for along time. There OSU problem has been well documented but, many Nigerians will not talk about it due the deep pain.

According to legend, Wendys family is cursed if the rumor is true. This is similar to many religious beliefs or counties that have old caste systems. Wendy family has been labeled with Osu blood allegedly.

What does Osu blood mean
Among the Igbo people of easternNigeriatheOsuare outcasts, the equivalent of being an "untouchable". Years ago he and his family would be shunned by society, banished from communal land, banned from village life and refused the right to marry anyone not from anOsufamily. source

She has that high and mighty season 1 shes better then this, thing going on that all the new HWs in every city have. By S2 she is straight in the muck with everyone else.

So to be fair the whole listing degrees is very Igbo. I don’t think it’s bragging in their culture. Go to an Igbo wedding and you have the MC introducing ‘Dr. Chief Engineer Sir Okafor’ or whatever.

I took it to be that the girls don’t want to go along with the fake storyline. They know their parents aren’t getting really remarried. I would bet $100 that Jamal has been trying to shop a reality show on himself for quite some time.

It has to be fake. They don't even look like they like each other.

WOW. That's bad. As was their children's underwhelmed response. Jamal is a smarmy, horse-face charlatan. Also oddly gives off a DL vibe.

I feel uneasy whenever he's on screen, and the girls' reactions to him makes it even worse. They seem very uncomfortable.

Bethesda and potomac are not that expensive. Maybe some parts. Potomac is less expensive.

This is what you pay for a new, high-end home in Bethesda.

That’s a large lot and a large house. You can get a nice brand new house in Wyngate or Grosvenor for under 1.6.

I grew up in Howard County and live in DC. I know how expensive it is. I wouldn't live in Carroll County if it was the last place on earth. Do you know how many really nice areas you go through to get from Hopkins to Carroll County. She's walking around like she is the sh!t. If you are the sh!t, you don't live in Carroll County. You can actually get a really nice house in Howard County, Bethesda or Potomac for WELL under $2m.

I’m also from Howard county and would never live in Carroll county
