Who is the new guy running NL and what's his affiliation?

Laco is a good guy, but frankly he stuck around the club lacrosse scene 5 years too long and wound up staying married to it mostly because NL also owns the facility which cash flows great for indoor lacrosse, baseball or other training. Give the new guys a chance for goodness sake. Look at what NL does have: great facility, access to turf fields and a young dedicated guy running it who can coach. It's all up from here for NL, the low is in.

Not affiliated with NL, apart from having kids who have attended the clinics which are by and large excellent. But I agree. The more interesting thing to me, as one of those so-called lacrosse parent crazies, is whether the new guy will draw from his high school team, which could affect a few of the area clubs as that school has a few studs, and also greatly enhance the NL program.

Will Bethesda Lacrosse ever field high school teams? That would be a great alternative to NL.

That's why I said stay away. See whether or not NL can be a real club before considering joining them. If they have real HS teams next year, then consider them. Otherwise, stay away.

The Landon guys tried working with NL a few years ago and bailed because of many reasons.

No dog in this fight. But how about giving the new head guy a chance. That 2019 team has its first tournament this weekend. Should be a good indication of whether things are turning around or whether it is more of the same.

I don't believe Next Level has HS teams save for 2019 ... could be wrong though.

He's just a weird dad trying to show how much he is into lacrosse. Bizarre.

Bros dropping knowledge on bros in Vegas. That's as great as a Klondike bar. And I'd do anything for a Klondike bar.

And then another sobering reminder. Now that NLF registrations are in, the deadlines are coming up for the IMG Sizzle Reel video package.

If you act now it is a 5% discount to the $400 full price. That's $380 which is less than $400. Or instead you can use a one time only voucher code to get $10 off the price to pay $390 and get an NLF magnet sticker for your car added at no additional price. Hard one on top of a Friday hangover, but I won't let all this get you down.

Yes, that's fun. If you've got some time in the barrio in westy GF or over in Southie P'mac way this weekend, get the kids out and get some fun.

If you'd like to get the full video coverage of the Halloween sessions, spot me a few weeks. I'm hoping to partner with Elevation Video, the leader in lacrosse videography, to do a special package soon as they return one of my phone calls or emails. I'm ready to elevate my game, so I go to Elevation Video. I don't do money grabs so one vid will be $20. Two will be $50, but if you get the order in before 2019 commits graduate high school, you'll get a $10 discount. So two will only cost $40, and that is less than $50.

Have a chillaxed weekend.

Seriously, do you have a life?

Are you the same guy who said his son is in college, yet you follow every single damn thing going on in youth lacrosse only to post sarcastic and "witty" posts that are meant to ... what? Inform?

Coaches trying to get better learning from a Notre Dame coach. Wow. Terrible. Why waste your time if you're a coach trying to improve? God forbid you take something back and teach kids and grow the game. How awful! They're better off talking to coach Pugh or Brooks right, or watching some more box games on Youtube. So chillax.

So do you regret playing college lacrosse?

I believe the point the PP was making is that college lacrosse might not be worth the costly, herculean efforts in terms of outcome. I also question those arguing about the long term dividends, implying that lacrosse players make better life-long connections than say, someone who excels academically, chooses a great program, etc.
