I’ll bet you $100 that more women have died this past summer from criminal attacks than from forced birther policies.
In other words, women bear the brunt of male aggression, whether by physical attacks or legal oppression.
Be honest, you couldn't care less about women.
You care about making some cheap political points.
Here's me being honest: I am a woman. Who has had difficult pregnancies that make me more firmly pro-choice. I think the government has no business making medical choices for women. Because I care about women.
Unlike you who wants to control them and allow Big Brother to control them.
Why is it that Republicans are always projecting?!
If they think women are only in this for politics, they’re gravely miscalculating. This is an existential issue for women, and a lot of men are on their side too, because they … care about them!
You seem to believe that no other country has something called Women.
Here's some news: nothing is more existential than the right to live. Most women in European countries, and also many in the US, get that simple point, and have been instrumental in passing reasonable abortion laws.
I don’t really care what they do in Europe. I live here. Would like to keep being able to do so with my rights to decide how to preserve that life, intact.
That's really interesting, because half the time here on dcum everyone loves universal healthcare and great public infrastructure and all that good European stuff. Perhaps you should be consistent and understand that good policy making requires taking into the account the interests of many parties --- including the unborn.
As another poster pointed out, Europe is actually more permissive than just a 15 week ban. And, if you choose to have a baby, they are far more supportive with leave, health care, etc. in many of those countries.
So, you can shove it.
Np- They will never come back and deal with facts. They have no argument.
As evidenced by their being in the wind again. Probably off obsessing about how human trafficking is okay when Republican governors do it.
They just keep striking out, looking worse every day. It’s delicious.

And of course with the lie that extremist bans "protect life" - meaning the life of the woman isn't seen as a life and isn't worth protecting, that a zygote is more valuable than any women whose body it needs to wreak havoc on for 9 months.

Republican Gov. Jim Justice on Friday signed into law a ban on abortions at all stages of pregnancy, making West Virginia the second state to enact a law prohibiting the procedure since the U.S. Supreme Court’s June ruling overturning its constitutional protection.
The bill will go into effect immediately, except for the criminal penalties, which will go into effect in 90 days, he said. Justice described the legislation on Twitter as “a bill that protects life.”
