Nothing happened to her. She’s clearly been a power-hungry striver willing to lie for political expediency. Shes excused corruption, the dismantling of democracy, and the willingness to kill children to stay in power.

It would actually not be all that far-fetched to presume his mom abused substances while she was pregnant.
I don't think it breeds sociopathy in all cases, but every sociopath origin story I've read seems to start with something like that.

Agree he'd love to be seen as "country," but his total lack of masculinity puts the kibosh on that.
