I live here, too, in a Hamlet. I agree with the previous poster that its really diverse.

Just who I’ve met (by no means everyone):

White, Black, Asian, Latino

Episcopalian, Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Confucianist

Homeowners’ age range from 20’s to 80’s

Young families, empty nesters, seniors, and multigenerational families

It really is a blend of people — American melting pot.

Indians follow vastu which means their homes must face north east. They also will not buy right now because of shradh, you are not supposed to make big purchases or luxury purchases during it. A lot of indian people make a lot, being the richest by race in the country.

I think a lot of Asians are partial towards homes facing a certain direction. I remember my parents talking about the direction our house faced when I was a kid and why it was beneficial, and I never understood it.

This community is really pretty, but I am wondering why no one seems to want the lots 161-166? Like there only seems to be a crazy amount of demand for the lots that face north/east. Also why has only the kalorama been priced up by 20k when all homes could be.

I think the smaller developers are the trolls here honestly. Like someone said, Toll wouldn’t bother…and their agents are salaried, not on incentive bonus plans, so doubt they would bother engaging in this forum.
