If a team is remaining in USYS, grandfathering everyone probably won't be a big deal at all. In that case, they'll probably be happy just to have enough players to have a team.

And by maybe, I mean smaller clubs will try to keep teams together while playing up, and then focus on the younger teams to get in line with the actual age change.

Anonymous wrote:In SoCal, the tryout will be Feb and May depends on the age group. Players usually do pre tryout practices for the elite team. So, how will the Q3/Q4 players do next spring? Ask to practice with the younger group before tryout and 3/4 months before the playoff? What will be the impact on the existing team's chemistry if a lot of Q3/Q4s show up and you are among the players on the chopping board?
