+1 I'm fairly conservative and live in a southern state but voted for Harris with misgivings about the liberal policies of Democrats. PP I don't like it and voted Harris, but yes, people care more about their personal safety and crime in their daily lives than something wrong in the abstract/that doesn't affect their sense of personal safety. They may care about both, but only one keeps them up at night.

It’s a damn shame that Trump will benefit from the infrastructure jobs bill, chips act and IRA that’s starting to pour billions of dollars and jobs into the country. I know with the republicans controlling SCOTUS, White House, Senate and now probably the House, they will find a way to fuuck it up.
