For those not familiar:
Occam’s razor in crime, or the principle of parsimony, dictates that the simplest explanation requiring the fewest assumptions is usually the most likely to be correct. When investigating, it favors common sense and directly verifiable evidence over complex conspiracies or convoluted theorieS.
Sleepwalked, attacked and dragged off by an animal
Hit the floodlight that her kids forced her to get, even though they know damn well she LOVES the total darkness, with a broom handle because it shines in her bedroom window and she couldn't figure out how to turn the damn thing off, cut herself in the process and because without the floodlight it was pitch black out, the way she likes it, she got disoriented and walked into the dessert where she was bitten by a snake and dragged away by a coyote, who later dumped her in the dry well because they couldn't eat her in one sitting. But what I don't understand is what happened to the broom.
The fbi literally released a video of a masked intruder at her front door. But go on with the most plausible theory being her sleepwalking outdoors and dragged away without a trace by a coyote

I can't. I .. I just can't. Have pity on me. I read about 10 pages starting 25 pages back to catch up and I'm exhausted. I'm dragging myself through the desert toward the mirage at this point. Please, I beg of you, just post the link.
The pictures are on page 113 and the videos on page 117

Had gun; face mask and gloves. And backpack. Definitely planned out.
Alone?
Why? Not for money, right? To scare SG? Why? If not for ransom, what is it all for?
That seems like the scariest part.
Seems like something went wrong. Maybe the assailant didn’t intend for her to get injured and leave blood. Maybe he thought he’d have more time to execute his plan. Maybe the quick police involvement threw him off?

The expert said if LE is at all suspicious, they usually will get a search warrant, instead of relying on a consensual search, because it holds up better later in court.
You can infer from this that since the search of daughter Annie's house was consensual, that LE isn't highly suspicious of her or her husband the "SIL".
She was given a week to clean up the house. Of course she’d say yes to the search. That is not true that a warrant is needed if you’re suspicious. Remember Scott Peterson consensually allowed a search and that’s when the cops noted the mop on the kitchen floor which he explained as his 9 month pregnant wife mopping before Christmas guests arrived.
This. They were given a week to clean up their mother's house, too.
Is anyone searching the surrounding area? It IS possible she wandered off and died in the desert right? Are there not foot prints? Car tracks? Nothing but this seemingly bogus kidnapping theory to pursue?
No, nobody has thought yet to search the surrounding area or look for footprints or car tracks. Glad you are on the case!
