The Riverbend guy? They won't even announce what league their teams are going to play in. Please.

had fall out with FVU
Is he really the scapegoat when this is the 2nd year in a row of him quitting mid-year. Seems like more of a trend with this guy.

You aren't paying attention at all if you think GFR is on the downslide.
Well, they literally just hired a new ED so give them a bit. The lawsuits were all allegations about the former ED so I imagine those are dead now but sounds like they were all dropped/settled anyway? I think only 1 coach left for Riverbend and he was a dad coach who has only ever coached his kids team so not exactly a huge loss to GFR. GD left but that's a good thing. Who is the bad hire? I haven't heard of any official new hirings yet. As for a pathway, that's not really something I care about - if my kid is a good player they'll make an ECNL/GA/MLS next team - I don't need a pathway through GFR to get them there.
read what? this board? yeah, no thanks, i've spoken to our kids coaches and they are very positive about the new ED and the changes she's making so you can be negative if you want about gfr but we are happy about what's happening there. i know that positivity doesn't generally vibe well with this board but i think it is worth noting.
Great comment ^.
We are very positive that the new ED seems to finally be aligned with the TD - when was that last time that was the case at this club? This will be extremely refreshing and should trickle down positively at all levels for both girls and boys.
Previous ED is still with the club, so couple that salary with the newly created Strategy Director's salary and that is at least an additional $150K a year that was unaccounted for, surely contributing to the forthcoming increased fees.
